Task 1. Imagine that you are preparing a project with your friend. You have found some interesting material for the presentation and you want to read this text to your friend. You have 1.5 minutes to read the text silently, then be ready to read it out aloud. You will not have more than 1.5 minutes to read it.

Raccoons are small, furry animals with bushy tails and distinctive black "masks" around their eyes. They are found in North America and some parts of Europe and Asia. Raccoons are nocturnal, meaning they are most active at night. Their diet includes fruits, berries, nuts, insects, and small animals like frogs and mice. Raccoons are very clever and have skilled paws.They can use their paws to open things, like garbage cans or even doors! Raccoons are often seen near human settlements because they can find easy food there. However, they are also important animals in the wild. They help spread seeds and keep the population of some insects and small animals under control.
